Reviews and Ratings
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at this hotel, and while the overwater bungalow was breathtaking and the views phenomenal, we found the dining and service aspects a bit disappointing. Drinks and meals were quite pricey, and some attention to detail was lacking. Regardless, it’s a stunning destination worth experiencing, just be prepared for the high costs involved.
I had an amazing stay filled with unforgettable views, especially of Mount Otemanu, and the bungalow was incredible. The staff was attentive and made me feel welcome, but I was a bit disappointed with the dining options and the additional charges for basics like water. Overall, a beautiful resort with a few minor annoyances that didn't overshadow the experience.
This resort offers stunning views and a magical atmosphere, perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, although some minor housekeeping issues arose during our stay. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel special. The dining options were enjoyable, but expect higher prices for meals. Overall, it was a trip of a lifetime, but be mindful of a few areas for improvement.
The Intercontinental Thalasso Resort is stunning, with breathtaking views and luxurious accommodations that truly feel like a getaway. The overwater villas are spectacular, and the setting is idyllic for relaxation. However, the food and service left much to be desired, often feeling repetitive and uninspired. The location, while beautiful, can feel isolating, especially when amenities are limited on-site and dining options lack variety.
My family and I had an unforgettable experience at this resort. The stunning views and luxurious accommodations were highlights, but there were some service hiccups that left room for improvement. While the private pool at our suite was incredible, the dining options didn't always meet expectations, especially given the price. Overall, it's worth a visit for the breathtaking setting and beautiful rooms, though there are a few areas that could be enhanced.
